     Hello followers.  School is back in swing as of this week and I have mixed feelings about it as it's my senior year.  I've only had one run through of each of my classes but I think that the specific class designed for graduating seniors is going to be a ton of work.  I hope I get to do what I want to (portraits/collages) because as I'm sure some of you know, a lot of art schools disregard photo-reference art all together.  "It's not conceptual enough" or "you should try this" when they're things you clearly don't want to do; not because they would be pushing you outside of your comfort zone, but because they have zero connection to how

So my birthday is in a few days and I've got full on birthday blues here at 7 AM on a Tuesday morning.  I don't know when it started but I really have hated my birthday for the last couple of years.  It's like any minimal sentiment from a family member that basically gushes over how old you're getting just makes me full on depressed.  In turn I start to think if I'm getting old then you are certainly getting old yourself.  Not even in a sarcastic way, just in a totally depressing way. Hi everyone, This has certainly been a very busy semester and I know I've neglected my DA account.  I just received an anonymous three month premium membership so to whoever granted me that thank you very much! Recently I was able to talk to Lindsey Way on the phone (amazing! I know!) she called me during an MSI stickam chat and we talked about art a bit.  I experimented with paper in a similar way to how she does it and it turned out to be very successful so I'm continuing to play with that.  Next semester I'm even taking an independent study so that I can get school credit for it. Hopefully I'll get the finishing touches on my next good p
